Iím a fiction writer and lecturer in Creative Writing at Swansea University. I count myself truly lucky to live close to the sea, and swim as often as I can.

My parents were born in Germany and both survived the War to meet in South Africa where they married and where I was born. We left Africa during apartheid and went by boat to Germany, then Scotland, and finally the UK. I continued into Wales.

Iím the co-editor of Swansea Review, and my writing work includes short stories and poetry featured in collections with Seren, Cinnamon Press and Seventh Quarry. A number of my conference papers are published online.
